Part 2: Biocide treatment - Get the bugs out!

When a test indicates the presence of micro-organisms in your tank, we recommend a biocide treatment to destroy the existing population and prevent further growth.

Even if your fuel has not been resting for an extensive period of time in your generator, there is no way for you to tell how long, or under what conditions the fuel was stored previously.

Diesel fuel biocide treatment:

• Prevents against growth of micro-organisms present in fuel.
• Destroys existing micro-organisms/bugs.
• Prevents damage to O-rings, rubber gaskets and fuel lines as a result of accumulation of "bugs".
• Prevents the contamination of stored fuel.
